API students in Cádiz live with local host families. Living with a host family provides a unique opportunity to interact with a Spanish family on a daily basis. Host families may be comprised of a single woman with or without children, a traditional two-parent household, or a retirement age couple. In general, two students share one bedroom in each family’s home unless an additional fee is paid to secure a single room. Students in Cádiz receive three meals per day and laundry service once a week. Housing for academic year students is included in the period between the fall and spring semesters.
