Academic Program

Lorenzo de’ Medici – The Italian International Institute – Florence (LdM) has partnered with Marist College to offer the first four-year U.S. Bachelor’s Degree Program in Florence. This degree program has been designed to meet the academic needs of qualified students from around the world. The program gives students the opportunity to interact with participants from a multitude of cultures and build the kinds of skills and experience they need to succeed in the increasingly complex global job market.

Marist College is a master’s-level comprehensive institution with its main campus in Poughkeepsie, New York. The Marist-LdM program is offered as  a satellite degree program. Upon completion of this program, students receive a Bachelor’s Degree from Marist College. All coursework and related activities, including online coursework, are conducted at the LdM sites in Italy. Transfer students from educational institutions worldwide and students who have completed other LdM programs are eligible to apply for entry into the second or third year of the program. Credit for work already completed is granted on an individual basis after evaluation.

The individual courses, degree curriculum, program assessments, and academic services are delivered in the same format as those conducted in the Poughkeepsie, New York main campus of Marist College, ensuring high academic quality and commitment to excellence.
