The program will consist of three main areas of study:
French Language – Conducted in French [A1 Syllabus] [A2 Syllabus] [B1.1 Syllabus] [B1.2 Syllabus] [B2 Syllabus] [C1 Syllabus]
Classes allow students to progress in learning French (grammar, verb conjugation, spelling, vocabulary, approach to literary texts, written and spoken expression) and are offered two hours per day, five days a week. Beginning students have the option of taking additional hours of language per day, five days per week (SUMMER 2 ONLY) for an additional fee.
Phonetics – Conducted in French
Classes allow students to improve their pronunciation, as well as comprehension and expression skills (with lab work). These classes are offered in the language lab one hour per day, every other week.
French Civilization (Summer 2 intermediate and advanced students only) – Conducted in French
Lectures cover various aspects of French civilization and are offered 1-2 hours per day on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. No credits are offered for these lectures.
