Most destinations in the northern hemisphere have a similar calendar and experience extended summer breaks during May, June, July, and August making placements limited during this time. The Southern Hemisphere locations are a great alternative during this time of year as this is their winter months.

The purpose of this educational facility is to promote learning for children of all abilities through interactive, informal, hands-on exhibits and demonstrations. The facility is a welcoming, fun environment that helps spark learning through imagination, creativity, and discovery. The intern will work to support activities including the design, development, and execution of educational workshops; coordinating visiting groups, birthday parties and events; assisting other staff members/departments, and promoting upkeep of exhibits and interactives.

Health Research Internship
This internship takes place at a graduate college dedicated to research, training, and extension programs in several fields of social sciences. The intern will work on a project that aims to analyze regional public health policies. The intern may assist the project leader in research activities, help organize an international conference, and assist with translating project documents and papers.
