TOTAL CREDIT HOURS AVAILABLE

QUARTER

Quarter: 175-185 contact hours
11-12 semester credits

This program is open to quarter, semester, and academic year students. It provides advanced language instruction while allowing students to choose from Spanish cultural electives. Complutense University operates on a quarter schedule. Each quarter, students complete a Spanish language course and three cultural electives. Students who are on a semester schedule and wish to maintain full-time status may still earn up to 185 contact hours per quarter (12 semester credits) by taking an additional 10-hour language course or cultural elective.
