Academic Program

TOTAL CREDIT HOURS

6-12 semester credits

The summer modules/classes are offered over two four-week blocks. Each module consists of in-class and excursion components, giving students the opportunity to enjoy university teaching both in and out of the classroom. Modules are assessed by a combination of exam, essay, presentation and fieldwork.

CREDIT INFORMATION

Courses at the University of Stirling are assigned credit based on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF). Each Stirling module earns 11 SCQF credits, or approximately 3 U.S. credits. Students are thus able to earn 6 U.S. credits (during a four-week block) or 9 to 12 U.S. credits (during an eight-week block)
