Housing

Students have the option to live in an university residence hall or with a host family. The host family option allows students to fully participate in the daily life of a French family, to actively practice the French language and to live “à la française.” Breakfast and 5 meals per week (either lunch or dinner) are provided by the host family. In addition, API will provide students in a host family with a meal card (good for 5 meals per week) to be used at the university cafeteria. Housing for the period between the fall and spring terms for students living with a host family is included in the program price.

API students who choose to live in campus accommodations are housed in mixed residences and floors, on and off the main campus, with direct access via the tram. Each room has its own sink, with common toilets and showers on each floor. API will provide students in the university housing with a meal card (good for 5 meals per week) to be used at the university cafeteria. Private rooms are available on a limited basis for an additional fee. Housing for the period between the fall and spring terms for students living in a dorm is included in the program price.

Students who live in accommodations that are further from campus will be provided with a monthly transportation pass.
