API Photo Contest

How many photos did you take while you were abroad? Just a few? Hundreds? Thousands? We’d love for you to share a few of your best photos with API.

The fall 2011 entry period has closed, and winners have been announced on the API Blog.

API is now accepting entries for the spring 2012 contest through July 1, 2012.

All entries will be posted on our Flickr and Pinterest pages, and students are urged to encourage others to share, like, tweet, and pin their entries.  Select winners may receive a scholarship for MatadorU or cash prizes.

Please upload one image at a time and provide your name, email, and a description.

API has a Flickr page which often features student, alumni, and staff photos. We also create photo “sets” on Flickr for current and past photo contests, as well as special projects. API features dozens of photo albums on Facebook, many sourced with student-contributed content. In addition to the albums on the main Page, students often upload photos into their respective (private) API Groups and the API Alumni Group.

API’s Tumblr blog often posts or re-blogs photos and content from our study abroad students.

APIstudyabroad on Pinterest

API regularly “pins” student photos on our Pinterest boards.

The API TV channel is a page within the API website featuring videos made by students and staff of their study abroad experiences. It also hosts the API Video Challenge winning video entries.
